Lost and Found Co. is a hand-painted hidden object adventure about a company that finds things people have lost. You play Ducky, a duck who woke up as a human intern, working for Goddess Mei in a magical startup office in Plumville. Every request sends the pair into a dense illustrated scene — a Japanese sweets shop, a harbour, a graveyard, a haunted mansion — where a few dozen objects are tucked into the furniture, the foliage and the pockets of the people standing around.

The tone is the reason people stay. The client who lost a compass is a sailor with a story; the child who lost a crayon box left it behind after finishing a masterpiece. If you have played Hidden Folks or A Little to the Left, the rhythm will feel familiar, but the art is warmer and the requests read like short stories rather than checklists.

This site tracks version 1.2.1, live since 15 October 2026: 31 stages, the two Fall Update requests, the Kit Shop rotation and the current Steam price.

What changed in the Fall Update

The 1.2.0 build (12 October 2026) added two stages, Love After Life and Fangtastic Feast, plus Korean localisation, a dialogue history panel and a fresh batch of Kit Shop decorations. Three days later, 1.2.1 cleaned up the launch: it fixed a loading-screen crash, repaired the To-do UI after a quest unlock, restored object scaling and rotation in saved rooms, added optional dialogue to the chest in Love After Life and fixed a soft lock in that stage.

Before your first request

  • Look for grey, not for colour. Juju, the hint currency, hides as a small grey object whose outline wobbles. It is never painted, which is why it disappears against busy shelves.
  • Click everything once. Every object in a stage reacts. Some reactions are jokes, some open a drawer you need, and a few reveal a second layer behind the first.
  • Read the item description. Clicking a found object shows a one-line note — the crayon box "left behind by the young artist once her masterpiece was finished" — and those lines are often the clue to where the next object sits.
  • Do the side quests before you leave. Each request carries optional objectives that clear only when you finish them; the 100% achievement is tied to the whole request, not the main objective.
  • Cash in Juju late. A hint costs Juju, and stages with more objects eat it faster. Clearing the easy sweep first means fewer hints spent on things you would have found anyway.
  • Check the save slot. Save slots arrived in 1.0.7; keep a manual one before replaying a stage.

Direct answers

How long is Lost and Found Co.? Bit Egg's 100-day infographic puts the average at 8 hours 32 minutes. A straight run through the story is shorter; clearing all 31 requests to 100% is where the hours go. The length breakdown separates the two.

How many levels are there? 31 requests, each with its own achievement. The base game shipped with 27, the Summer Update added Master of Findjutsu and My Summer Memories 2, and the Fall Update added Love After Life and Fangtastic Feast. The full list is on the level count page.

Is it on Switch? Yes, but not yet. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions are announced for early 2027, with four-player co-op and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. There is no PlayStation or Xbox version.

Is it worth $14.39? That is the cheapest the game has been. With 2,966 reviews, an Overwhelmingly Positive rating and about eight and a half hours for a normal playthrough, it sits in the "buy if you like hidden object games" bracket — see the worth-it page.

Where to start reading

If you have not opened the game yet: Beginner guide → How to play → The First Request. That is the first hour, the loop, and one full request worked through.

If you are stuck right now: Juju and hints explains the hint economy, Object types and puzzle logic covers the tricks stages use, and the walkthrough index has the four stage pages with the most traffic.

If you are chasing 100%: All 31 achievements lists the global completion rate of every stage, so you can see which requests are genuinely hard, and Level count tells you which four stages were added after launch.
